Die Schulcharta des Gymnasium Antonianum
Schulcharta
Was ist eine Schulcharta? Unter einer Schulcharta versteht man eine Grundsatzvereinbarung zwischen allen an der Schule Beteiligten, Schülern und Eltern bzw. Erziehungsberechtigten, Lehrern und Mitarbeitern. Sie stellt Grundsätze für das Zusammenleben aller Mitglieder der Schulgemeinschaft auf, aus denen sich Rechte und Pflichten für jeden Einzelnen ergeben. Infolgedessen ist sie mehr als eine Schul- und Hausordnung, die auf jene aufbaut und auf deren Grundlage spezifische Verhaltensregeln für einzelne klar definierte Situationen aus dem Schulalltag aufstellt.
Schon seit 1885 übernehmen Schülerinnen und Schüler aus Vechta und Umgebung Verantwortung in der „Gymnasialkapelle. Diese lange Tradition fing ganz bescheiden mit dem Wunsch einiger Antonianer nach einem eigenen Schulorchester an. Bald schon fanden sich einige Interessierte zusammen und auf der Gründungsversammlung im Juli konnte die Satzung verabschiedet werden. Von Anfang an war das Blech also demokratisch als eigenständiger Schülerverein aufgebaut – was zur Zeit der Gründung keineswegs selbstverständlich war. Zur Aufgabe machten es sich die jungen Musiker „anspruchsvolle Blasmusik zu pflegen“ und ihre Ergebnisse einmal im Jahr auf einem öffentlichen Konzert zu präsentieren. Außerdem gehörten natürlich schon damals die Himmelfahrts- und Fronleinamsprozessionen, sowie die Auftritte bei Schulfesten und anderen Feiern zum jährlichen Programm.
2010 feiert das „Blech“ sein 125jähriges Bestehen.
